Throw the ball.....just one more time!

Today was a shuffle and throw the ball type of day!  As Benny gets healthier I believe I will have to develop more upper arm strength!  Another first Benny was able to shake his whole body!  From the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail!  Prior to today only his front half shook. After a session of ball throwing (okay, rolling!) Benny did his best to resist napping:
and then, well the inevitable happened:
Today we continued with the same diet of cooked chicken, cooked beef, rice, and pumpkin, no homeopathy, and a Reiki session with Kathi.
Wishing you all a day filled with the magic of rolling balls and (as Bridget wished for me) snuggle energy!

  1. Hi, Benny. You are trying to save a boy in Wasco tonight. He has until tomorrow morning at 7:00...can you send him a good luck wish? Some of your beautiful karma? I know he can be well like you. You can help him. I love you, Benny.

    Sweet dreams...

  2. Benny, you little miracle doggie! Playing with balls and enjoying reiki sessions - love love love and licks from me and Edward and Mouse and Anubis. Your spirit is astounding, as is that of your helpers. Namaste, Benny Dude

  3. Godspeed sweet boy! soon your mind and body and most importantly your spirit will be mended. Love from: "Curtis"(golden retriever), "Calvin"(pitbull terrier), and "Chester" the wonder cat. We were rescued too by human guardians angels who became our mom & dad

  4. Benny, I got home so late on this day, Wednesday. I went back to Lancaster to get a girl out before they killed her. Elsie looks like a pit/cattle dog mix. She too has mange that covers about half of her body. She reminds me of you in a way. Gentle, sweet, and trying to get better. I hope you were able to connect with her during your Reiki session. She could use some support. On Saturday she will be getting a ride to Idaho with a woman named Julie. She is going to find Elsie a home up there.
