Benny is playing!!!

Below Benny is playing with his best friend Samson, the Dobie:

Here they are continuing to play:
and playing some more:

Doug mentioned that Benny also enjoys playing with the different toys he finds around the property.  Is this wonderful or what!
Wouldn't it be great if school playgrounds, parks, and neighborhoods were as safe and fun for children and animals as it is for Benny at Dougs.  What if the school bullys (male and female) were the ones who were made fun of, ended up with the lowest status, were the ones no one wanted to be around......bullying then would not spread.  When a culture supports bullying then it grows.  Yes, we give lip service to the idea that 'bullying' isn't good but bullying behavior is essentially embraced within our culture.  Bully behavior is when a person uses strength or power to harm and intimidate those who are weaker.
What if the highest possible status and value went to the people who protected the humans and non humans who are weaker than they are?  Our culture would be radically different.  Radically.  We would not have millions of abused and neglected children and animals.  Our backyards would be safe.
What if Love was understood to be Love by the resulting behaviors instead of shared DNA?
Wishing you all safe play days,

  1. Thank you for sharing...luv u Benny :)

  2. When we all remember where we came from, a place of pure, perfect love, then our culture would be radically different. Benny, you are such a joy to watch. Being on the road has meant time away from my pack and my computer so I was not able to see your blogs. Patti, I am glad that you are back and posting. Now, I must get caught up with Elsie's blog.

  3. I so love reading these updates and seeing his progress! I'm in awe of how beautiful and strong he has become. Thank you for sharing your story and I look forward to watching Benny continue to grown. Love you!!

  4. Thank you so much for the updates! May Benny and his pack live happily every after. And thank you humans for rescuing Benny and giving some of us very disillusioned folks a glimmer of hope for humanity.
